Our rating method
Every product we feature earns a visible editorial score out of 10. That score is our own assessment, not an average of customer star ratings, and it is set before any affiliate consideration.
What the score reflects
We weigh the factors that actually affect daily use for each category: performance, build quality and durability, ease of use and cleaning, features that matter, warranty, and value. The weighting shifts by category, so a stock pot and a robot vacuum are judged on the criteria that matter for each.
What we do not do
We do not accept payment for placement, we do not physically test products in a lab, and we never invent prices, star ratings or customer review counts. When a category changes, we revisit the ranking and update the date.
